Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide when you create a profile, post in the community, book a session, or contact a provider. This may include your name, email, location, profile photo, interests, and limited information about your children that you choose to add.

2. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

The Village is designed for mothers and adult caregivers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Any information about your children that appears on your profile is provided by you, the parent, and is under your control. You may remove it or withdraw consent at any time in Privacy & Safety settings. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and improve the Service, facilitate bookings and messaging, verify providers, process payments, send service notifications, comply with legal obligations, and keep the community safe. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only as necessary: with providers you book with, with our payment processor to complete transactions, with service providers who help us operate, and when required by law or to protect safety. You control community visibility of your posts and activity via Privacy & Safety settings.

5. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado), you may have rights to know what personal data we hold, correct it, delete it, opt out of certain sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, use the delete option in Privacy & Safety settings or contact us.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Privacy & Safety settings. This removes your mom profile, posts, group activity, favorites, and reports. Some provider and transaction records may be retained for safety, fraud prevention, and legal record-keeping.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full credit card number. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
